I have to admit, when the lug sole loafers (platform loafers) started to become popular this fall, I had my doubts. I thought they looked a bit bulky, so I wasn’t really on board. But when summer came to an end and my sandals went back in the closet, I was at a loss at what footwear would look good with the new wider leg pants. Sneakers look cute, but sneakers are too casual for work. My flats didn’t work and I don’t like to wear heels. Enter the new loafers!
